Biomedical Sciences | BSc (Hons)

Discover how advances in biomedical science have helped to diagnose and treat illnesses. In your first year you will develop a solid foundation of knowledge in the various disciplines of biomedical sciences including immunology, haematology, cell biology, human physiology, genetics, microbiology and pharmacology, which will prepare you for more advanced and specialised study. You will learn how to communicate academically and how to utilise best scientific practice when conducting hands-on research, and consider the role of ethics and health and safety.
