MSc Sport & Exercise Nutrition
I loved studying nutrition on my first degree, so continuing onto my masters was the perfect option for me. I was able to work with athletes and clubs around the UK - applying what I was learning into practice. I now use my skills to help athletes meet their nutritional needs and achieve their peak potential.
Teaching and learning
You will develop a critical understanding of the metabolic and endocrine responses to different types of exercise, their time course and scope for training and detraining adaptations. It will also facilitate the development of laboratory data collection skills.
You will develop knowledge, understanding and critical awareness of measurement and evaluation tools and techniques in sport and exercise nutrition.
This module will introduce you to the general principles, concepts and theory in nutrition and nutritional biochemistry necessary for the development of performance nutrition strategies.
